This milling jar is designed for use in planetary ball mills paired with tungsten carbide balls. It is especially suited for fine grinding and pulverizing ultra-hard materials, including hard alloy powder, diamond powder, and silicon carbide powder.
Standard jar volumes range from 25 mL to 1000 mL. In addition, customized dimensions can be manufactured based on provided technical drawings or samples.
The recommended maximum operational loading volume is approximately 2/3 of the grinding jar's total capacity, which leaves adequate space for optimal ball motion and impact.
Each tungsten carbide milling jar comes standard with a matching lid and a high-grade rubber sealing gasket to prevent leaks during operation. Mixed tungsten carbide grinding balls are ordered separately.
The jar features a hardness of 92.1 HRA and a density of 15.5 g/cm³. The composition incorporates tungsten carbide (WC 85% to 94%) bonded with cobalt (6% to 15%) for exceptional wear and abrasion resistance.
